Why can't I turn summarizer off?

Description of the issue:

Cannot find this alleged opt-out setting to deactivate the summarizer integrated into
Brave search.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Use Brave search (ironically enough) to look for a way to turn it off.
  2. Read that users can opt out of the AI-powered summarizer via the settings menu.
  3. Fail to find this opt-out slider anywhere.

Expected result:

Well, you know, the ability to turn it off. Good grief.

The setting is not yet displayed in the search settings, despite Brave stating that users can turn off Summarizer results in the settings.

Here is how that is done:

  1. Load https://search.brave.com/settings.
  2. Locate the Summarizer option and toggle it off.

I know, it’d be nice if they didn’t talk out of their behinds when making press releases like that.
