Why am I using this search engine? It's still a portal to MSM and Big Tech biases

Look at the search results…

Nothing but “Fact checkers” and MSM water carrying. I really don’t want to get into a political discussion, but this is basically no different than if I were to use google or whatever else.

I thought this would be a better option, to help people find different, less biased sources of information and it appears that’s not the case.

It sounds like you’re questioning the impartiality of the search engine you’re using, as it might still prioritize mainstream media (MSM) or big tech companies, potentially influencing the type of results you get. This concern is valid, especially given how search engines may prioritize content from larger, more influential platforms due to algorithms that favor popular or heavily linked sources.

If you’re looking for more unbiased search results, you might want to explore alternative search engines that focus on privacy or provide less algorithmic manipulation. Some options include:

  • DuckDuckGo: Known for not tracking user data and providing less personalized but more private search results.
  • Startpage: Pulls results from Google but removes any tracking, providing a more privacy-centric option.
  • Qwant: Focuses on privacy and a neutral search experience, with less emphasis on corporate bias.

These options might help you access a broader range of perspectives without the filter bubbles of mainstream tech influence. Let me know if you’d like more information on any of these!
