'What's New' tab opens everytime brave is started

Everytime I start brave it opens a “What’s New” tab.
I tried changing home tab, resetting settings, clear all cache history etc, update but it did not resolve the problem.
Would appreciate if someone can let me know how to get rid of Whats New.

It definitely should only be appearing the first time the browser is launched after an update. We have an open issue to add an option to disable it fully:

Wondering if maybe going to Settings --> Getting started --> On Startup and changing this option to maybe Open new tab (or anything you haven’t had it set to previously) might help.
