Whenever I update the browser via the “Update” button in the top right, Brave restarts with an empty browser tab (losing all my previously open tabs). I assume this is because my “on startup” setting is set to “Open the New Tab page”. The issue is the updating the browser is a unique situation where I want it to remember my tabs. It is not the same as me explicitly closing the window/application, because pressing “update” sets the expectation that it would update and then return me to my current state. To me, this is alot different than explicitly closing the window/application and then reopening, and I don’t want to change my setting to “Continue where you left off” just in this unique situation, since I do prefer “On startup - Open a New Tab” as my default.
