Web-page appearing behind vertical tabs sidebar

Description of the issue: Many sites including brave community website occasionally appear behind the vertical tabs sidebar. All YouTube web-pages, once you enter and exit fullscreen, assume horizontal tabs and thus appear behind the vertical tabs sidebar.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open any video on YouTube
  2. Fullscreen video
  3. Exit fullscreen. Note that the web-page appears behind the vertical tab sidebar.

Expected result: Reverting from fullscreen should have the web-page assume a size that factors the vertical tabs sidebar.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.52.117 Chromium: 114.0.5735.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: Linux

Looks like this issue has already been fixed — it is riding the rails and in Beta right now, should be in release version after the next browser update:
