Free!?!..,I signed up for VPN Oct 7th and cancelled it today because my account was charged. I haven’t even hardly used the free trial. What a waste of my time, effort and apparently money. Please return my finances immediately because I need that to survive.
@Twitchbear today is November 11. The free trial is 7 days. Today is November 11. That means it has been more than a month. When you sign up, you agree for it to automatically charge when the trial ends if you have not canceled ahead of time.
Just so you know, this is a greatly outdated version of Brave. The current version for iOS is 1.71 (125).
But while speaking of it being on iOS, this means you likely signed up for VPN through App Store. You would need to submit a claim there to see if they would refund it. Though based on what you have shared, it’s unlikely.
@Twitchbear as mentioned earlier, you would likely need to write in via the App Store to contest it if that is where you signed up.
You could always try to create a Premium Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360003078831
to see if anyone from Brave can help. That form asks for an invoice number. If you don’t have one (likely won’t if signed up through app store), then leave it blank. It is not a required field.
