Video player does not work on certain websites

Description of the issue:
On certain websites, Brave does not show video content at all, just a white space. When I open the same page with firefox, there is no problem, so it should not be a codec issue.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)

I do not have Chrome. It works with firefox

Brave version (check About Brave): v1.42.97 (happened on earlier versions too)

Hey, for me as well it didn’t work when brave shields was up but when I disabled shields it worked for me, shields blocks videos and ads to speed up webpage load time, hope this helps you, cheers!

Actually yes, it was the adblocker. I have never changed the standardsettings and seeing them showing red when activated, is against my logic. So I thought all the red ones were deactivated…doh
