The video player in YouTube and other sites that have ads are not working only playing one second and then stop or just do not play at all but other sites like Netflix and such still work fine

OK. On your computer, in a Brave Browser New Window go to:

I would like to say that this doesn’t happen on my phone and tablet and also not on chrome
@samaha74 guess big things would be:
-
Does disabling Shields allow everythign to play okay?
-
Does this also happen in private window?
-
If happens in private window, can you test in a new browser profile that you’ll use for testing (second profile, not replacing your first)?
( Hamburger Menu →More Tools
→Add New Profile
)
- no disabling sheilds doesn’t help
- it doesn’t happen in private window
This usually means it’s cookies or one of your extensions if you’re using one.
This is because the only thing that private window is doing is creating a session with no cookies and with all extensions disabled unless you’ve adjusted settings to allow the extension to run in private.
Everything else should be the same between a normal window and private window. So whenever we hear that one works in private you know it should be one of those two things
oh ok I’ll look into it thanks
