Video playback on the Brave Browser for Linux is choppy. This issue does not happen in other web browsers on Linux such as Firefox.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open web browser.
Go to youtube.com.
Click on any video.
Right-click the video to open up the context menu and click on “Stats for Nerds.”
Observe dropped frames causing stutter when viewing videos.

I have tested this issue on multiple releases of Ubuntu and Fedora with both KDE and Gnome desktop environments using multiple Nvidia drivers and the same issue happens.
