When I play a video from Rumble via the Brave Browser on my desktop the video is distorted.
I start the video and it is distorted…move the cursor off the video and it clears up…move the cursor back onto the video and it gets distorted. Example here
Expected result:
Video to play undistorted
Brave Version( check About Brave
):
Version 1.48.158 Chromium: 110.0.5481.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
Have tested on other browsers and did NOT experience the same issue.

## Description
Videos on these websites appear to break unless you turn Shields off in the browser. Until then, rumble.com (for example) displays plain black loading screen. Alternatively, it appears that, for some users, changing the `Autoplay` permission to `Block`, then clicking on the video twice will force it to work.

That said, the issue you’re seeing is not the same. Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration
in settings to see if this resolves the issue?
You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration
Thanks for the suggestion…tried it but to no avail.
Do you have any extensions installed in the browser at this time?
They’re unlikely to affect the video but can you try disabling them, then test to see if the video behaves the same way?
I disabled them all and nothing changed. It is odd that this only an issue with Brave…It isn’t the end of the world for me mainly just annoying.
I’d like to test and see if the issue is related to the profile or with Brave itself. I’m assuming Brave itself but this test will help confirm that. Can you please try creating a temp. new browser profile and see if you get the same behavior there?
Did as you suggested and no change in the video
@BullcityNC ,
Do you see this behavior on any other site with video content? Youtube, vimeo, etc?
I also use YouTube some and have never experienced this issue.
