Video Continuation Delay [When Flipping Tabs]

Hey,

Just thought of a suggestion. I flip around on my tabs a lot, specifically when videos, or streams, are playing ads. Or perhaps there is a bit of a loll in the content. Doing this in brave causes the video to instantly freeze, and then takes a second to continue, even if all I did was impatiently flip tabs.

Could we get the videos to continue for 1-2 seconds after I’ve left the tab? This way, if we come back before those 1-2 seconds, the video won’t be frozen?

I assume many other people have noticed this too. Cheers.

I’m not entirely sure I understand the behavior you’re describing. Can you elaborate please? If you could share a short screen recording of the behavior that would also be extremely helpful.
