Description of the issue: Video are sluggish/laggy on every website. Video are slow, they start but like they’re slow, video and sound. After some times, it depends, the video starts playing okay.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
Just visit a website with video ?
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
After 21 seconds, the video starts to playing normally
Expected result:
Video is slow
Reproduces how often:
Every time, after some refresh the video can starts directly but not always.
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10 Pro 1903 - 19362.207 (latest update)
i7 6700k - 16 Go RAM, GTX 1070
Brave Version 0.66.99 Chromium: 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) (up to date)
Additional Information:
I’ve tried on Brave Beta, Brave Nightly, private pages, privates pages with Tor, re-installing also.
I’ve tried to disable Hardware acceleration, doesn’t change anything
I’m running a PiHole for my DNS, even when it’s disable, same thing happens.
Brave is running like a charm on my Laptop, same build.
Video are okay on other browser, only on Brave
It’s not a buffer problem, my connection is 300Mbps Down 200 Up, 2 ping, fiber + ethernet link
I’ve tried also to clean the cache, but well as Private didn’t work, wasn’t expecting anything
I think the problem is hardware, but I can’t figure it out. When loading a game, a video can starts to be sluggish even after the start.
My CPU or RAM usage is normal, video sluggish or not, ram is always under 50% usage
If someone can help, cause I really like Brave on my Laptop and I want to dissociate with Google as more as possible, and Brave was a great opportunity to do it.
