Brave lagging when playing video

Brave is lagging when playing any sort of video,
I tested youtube, twitch, netflix and disney plus.
Audio works fine just the video it self is lagging and also there is no problem with opening other tabs when a video is playing.

I tried:

  • disabling all extension
  • disabling hardware acceleration
  • i have the newest nvidia drivers installed
  • i tried to run the browser in single threaded mode
  • in windows grafic settings i added the browser with high performance
  • i tried reinstalling
  • using other browsers chrome, firefox and ms edge work fine

Brave Version: Version 1.36.111 Chromium: 99.0.4844.51

Disabling Hardware Acceleration will create more Lag. Try Brave in private window mode, or test in a new Brave profile (or install Brave Beta, no extensions).
