Very High Power Usage (Youtube)

Brave always used a lot of power when watching youtube, but lately it’s been lagging way too crazy.

When i’m not on youtube, Brave uses “Very Low” Power Usage according to Task Manager. But as soon as I go on a youtube page, BAM the power usage goes to Very High.
It’s been so bad now that youtube will barely load.

How do I fix this!?

And no it’s not my hardware or my internet (1gb up/down), here are my specs;
OS: Windows 10
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (24 CPUs), ~3.8GHz
Memory: 32GB RAM
GPU - GTX 1080 8GB
950W PSU

I have Specifically Noticed this on my Windows 11 Supernova VM, If i disable Ambient mode, The Performance is accelerated a lot which tells us Ambient mode is using lot of CPU and GPU power aswell… Try turning that off and see if it makes any difference in your case.

I’m on Windows 10 and don’t see any ambient mode settings.

Also i’m not going to disable like 75% of youtube in order to reduce power consumptions, that’s more like a band aid rather than a fix.
