Unable to restore Brave Rewards after factory resting macbook

Briefly describe your issue:
I recently factory reset my Macbook on which I had my accumulated my Brave rewards worth $20 USD. I backed up all of my data (bookmarks, passwords, etc) except for my Brave rewards. I also did not have a verified wallet, meaning i did not connect to Uphold.

I am now trying to restore my previous Brave rewards using my seed phrase which is accurate but I get the message “Please re-enter keys or try different keys.”

Is this happening because I did not backup my rewards?? However, I saw other blogs where some people have been successful even though they have not backed up their rewards and just used their seed phrase to restore their previous rewards.

Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no)

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?
Yes through ad revenue

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)

Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)?
Yes - Australia

Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??
