Issue: Im trying to restore my verified Brave Rewards and Brave isnt recognizing my 12 word seed phrase. Am I entering my seed phrase wrong? Ive tried with Spaces, Commas, Vertical Bar to no success. Ive triple checked im entering my seed phrase correctly. Still not working.
Its also important to note that I was able to log into my Gemini account and can see what rewards I have that I had already transferred to Gemini from Brave but…I cant see my Brave rewards and Brave rewards profile using my Brave Rewards seed phrase.

@WellnessWorldShop This hasn’t been part of the browser for years. Yes, they left in the Recover portion there, but you can’t use it. Just like if you create Rewards now, you’ll get no seed phrase. You can see where this was even discussed in 2020.
Back then there was still some viability to it, but even that went away.
Just curious… why are you trying to recover your Rewards since it appears you have been receiving payments recently. Can you provide details?
In general, reinstalling Brave from scratch will create a new Rewards wallet id. If you have a back-up of your Brave-Browser or User Data folder from the previous install, you can restore your old Rewards wallet id using one of the back-up folders. If you do not have a back-up and had to reinstall Brave, then you have lost your estimated Rewards since your last payment to Gemini.
