UI breaks on every website

Description of the issue:
The UI on the first tab of every new session breaks no matter what website I go to. When I open a second tab it works. (See screen recording)

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Open Brave, go to any website.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
UI breaks and site does not load. See screen recording
Expected result:
Website to load.
Reproduces how often:
Every time I start a new brave session.
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Brave: Version 1.71.118 Chromium: 130.0.6723.70 (Official Build) (64-bit)

This happens on both my windows laptop and on my windows desktop. I have no extensions installed.

Good report. Watching your video is a must, in order to clarify what you meant by “UI breaks.”

You might report, here, hardware details for both computing devices. (Both, using the same Windows OS?)

Very strange behavior indeed. I’m wondering if this is another weird issue caused by Graphics Acceleration. Can you try going to brave://settings/system and toggling the Use Graphics Acceleration when available option “off” (you’ll be prompted to relaunch) and see if this resolves the issue?
