Had that error message, tried disabling all my extensions and relaunched my browser. Still got that error message and clicked “Join Brave” or something to see if that would cause anything to change. After a couple of refreshes i got my account and balance back, and then saw my BAT jump from like 275 to 181 and would like some help pls :frowning: The recovery key is the same so I can’t do much with that, and I’m on a macbook running the regular Brave Browser. I have restarted my browser and computer multiple times as well and that has not fixed anything.

You’re still seeing that error message? Have you connected to a VPN or installed any new extensions recently?

@Mattches im not seeing that error message anymore because it gave me the option to “create a new account” and i had my recovery key so i just tried it. that then brought my rewards back online in some capacity, but im down almost 100 BAT that has simply vanished. my recovery key is still the same and i lost whatever rewards i was supposed to earn this month but i really just want my account balance fixed :frowning:

Thank you for reporting! Please DM with the following information:

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals)
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version)
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in Settings --> Brave Rewards.
