Ubuntu 20.04 Lock Screen (Win+Esc) closes Brave

Description of the issue: The “lock screen” key sequence is intercepted when Brave is open (even if not the active window) and Brave is closed. As a result, Brave must first be closed before successfully locking the screen.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install Ubuntu 20.04 system with Gnome DE
  2. Open Brave window
  3. Press Win+Esc key combo. Observe Brave closing.
  4. Press the “Lock Screen” button in the power options system dropdown. Observe Brave closing.

Expected result:
Expect to lock the screen. The odd behavior makes sense since Gnome switched from Win+L like most normal systems to Win+Esc, but it is what it is.
