Description of the issue:
Hello when I search something on the URL search box and google search box I see list of websites that don’t show up when I search on chrome and it sometimes gives me websites that have nothing to do with my search, I’m confused on why this is happening now and I would like to remove this. This is giving suspicion it’s coming from brave because I did the same thing on chrome with the same computer and I see only one accurate website and below that is just the drop downs.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Search anything using the brave browser.

Expected result:
strange websites.

Not sure I fully understand the issue. Can you please share an example of the queries/search results you’re using/seeing? Additionally, can you share a screenshot of the “gray box” you’re describing?

Apologies, I forgot to edit that ‘gray box’ part out from the header, I no longer saw the box till I disabled my dark mode extension I however still saw incorrect search results the dark mode extension just highlighted it. Ultimately, it was because of my one of my other extensions affected my google searches.
