The new version is great. Smooth installing, everything worked right away except for YouTube TV (“this video format is not supported”), but I installed Widevine over at Netflix.com and that fixed the problem. It’s fast and text is as clear as spring water. I will never go back to Chrome or Vivaldi. Thanks!
wait, do you work for brave?
yea sounds like a prewritten script, doesn’t it?
No, I don’t work for Brave, I’m an old retired guy. I have used most of the known browsers, liked Chrome the best but wanted to get away from Google. The Microsoft browsers don’t accept the extensions that are important to me; Vivaldi was OK but slow and a bit clunky. I still have a small problem with Dashlane in Brave, but still consider it the best in this imperfect world. That’s my opinion, of course.
try this:
“Chrome thrilled with an extremely fast site rendering, a sleek design and innovative features. But it also gets critic from data protection specialists , for reasons such as creating a unique user ID or the submission of entries to Google to generate suggestions. SRWare Iron is a real alternative. The browser is based on the Chromium-source and offers the same features as Chrome - but without the critical points that the privacy concern.”

Just found out about Brave in an article in the Verve and in only a few days use I’m very impressed! Faster and open more web pages and causes less issues than any I’ve used before.
