I am planning to switch to a new operating system on my laptop. Currently, I am using Kubuntu, but I am unsure of how to save and transfer my Brave browser statistics (such as “minutes saved” and “ads blocked”) to the new OS. Once I change the OS, I will no longer be able to return to my current version. Could you please provide guidance on how to preserve and import these statistics effectively during the migration process?

There’s not really a way to keep it. I’m trying to think if a person were to move over all the information from their profile path if it keeps it, but I think it resets regardless.
You can see your profile path via brave://version
if you want to give it a try. Moving over everything from there on one device to the next would at least have you retain bookmarks, settings, etc. I think the only issue you’ll have is with passwords as they won’t show due to encryption. So make sure you have passwords synced or that you do an Export Passwords file so you can have it set up on your new OS, assuming you have saved passwords and all in the browser.
