I have seen few feature requests for adding close tab button to the view. I would like to offer an alternative solution which I used to use in a different browser and that’s swiping up from the tabs button. In other words: “hold the tab list icon on the lower right corner on menu bar and swipe up quickly”.
This gesture is super quick and doesn’t require a new button in the bottom panel. I think this could be useful, because closing tab is a very common action and currently there isn’t any option for closing tab in a single step.
