Stats and R̶e̶w̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ were Reset automatically :( [help needed]

Brave was reset. All my brave stats, re̶w̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ and settings were reset. And it was all done without my invasion.

Everything was fine until today, when I opened Brave and discovered that my saved websites in the sidebar had vanished, as had every single setting and stats.
(History, extensions, and bookmarks were intact. and i had two profiles which were intact too)

A̶n̶d̶ w̶h̶e̶n̶ i̶ g̶o̶ t̶o̶ M̶a̶n̶a̶g̶e̶ B̶r̶a̶v̶e̶ r̶e̶w̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ > R̶e̶s̶e̶t̶. i̶t̶ s̶h̶o̶w̶s̶ i̶’l̶l̶ l̶o̶s̶e̶ 3̶6̶.7̶5̶ B̶A̶T̶ b̶u̶t̶

But on startup page, its all clean

I’ve been using Brave for more than three years, and it was really exciting to see stats (the number of ad trackers blocked) whenever I opened Brave, but now it’s very annoying to start from scratch.

I really hope I’ll get my stats, rewards, and settings back.

Buddy the notice clearly shows what happened. You’re from a region not supported by Uphold / Gemini to connect. Read the notice in the Rewards page card on the homepage

Well. That I am not sure. Maybe @Mattches might be able to help.
Stats should not reset. Atleast they didn’t on my Windows.

I have seen a couple other reports of this recently so its likely not just you — that said, I have no idea why stats would have reset. The team is aware of the issue and looking into it.

Idk if its related or has something to do with it but just letting you know I updated to Windows 11 Insider Preview 25295.1000 (rs_prerelease) and after that it was all clear ( i am not sure tho )
