Squircle icons and frames

Hey, looks like google has gone crazy and others too with these boody circle icons. No option to customize in brave. I see, it is easier to work and deal with circles for interface desing, but that looks ugly. There should be an option to change icons as square or other shape. I really do expect it is developer’s lazyness to think a bit more widely. Isn’t it?
