Sometimes can't place tab in new vertical group by dragging them

Description of the issue:
Sometimes i can not place a tab in a new created group by drag’n’drop, it will not “snap in”. I can pull tabs out but not drag in.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open some tabs.
  2. Click on a tab and choose “Tab to group” and “New group”.
  3. Click on another tab and try to drag’n’drop it to the new group.

Expected result:
The tab should “snap” in the new group

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.73.97 Chromium: 131.0.6778.108 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)

Additional Information:

  • Windows 11 x64 24H2 build 26100.2454
  • In Edge this is no problem
