Brave crashes when trying to pin a tab within a group

Description of the issue:

When I try to pin a tab within a group (I wanted to check if it would be pinned within a group or in the general list), Brave crashes

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Create group of tabs
  2. Try to pin one of the tabs inside of the group

Expected result:

Tab is pinned, preferably inside a group

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.68.134 Chromium: 127.0.6533.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Operating System: Fedora Linux 40
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0

Yes i can confirm it even with a fresh install

@antonshutov you using vertical tabs? If so, then this is a duplicate and known issue with an open Github as linked below.

And want to point out that it looks like it should be getting uplifted soon if all goes well. Likely in the next update, which Iā€™m assuming should happen within the next few days.
