Description of the issue: Unable to Edit or Remove sites in brave://settings/content/siteData & brave://settings/cookies - Shows “This setting is controlled by Brave Shields. ” when trying to remove any site

How can this issue be reproduced?
Go to Settings brave://settings > Privacy and Security brave://settings/privacy > Site and Shields Settings brave://settings/content
Then in brave://settings/cookies & brave://settings/content/siteData try and remove any site
A pop-up shows - “This setting is controlled by Brave Shields.
Ans: YES
Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
Ans: NO
Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
Ans: NO
Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
Ans: No Data (I haven’t checked with chrome as I don’t have that browser)

There is a cookies allowed website I do not visit any longer that wont delete/remove when clicking on dustbin on Setting>Cookies and Site Data nothing happen.

I am unable to remove sites from “Sites that can always use cookies”
Clicking on the trash icon does not remove the sites.
I have already tried clearing all browsing data to no effect.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Navigate to settings, privacy and security, cookies and site data, Sites that can always use cookies
Click the trash icon to remove a site
Expected result:
Sites should be removed

In one of my profiles it’s impossible to delete sites in the modified cookie settings. It’s google and firebaseapp.com , which I believe is google-related. It’s only possible to move the sites between the three categories, the delete function doesn’t work.
Expected result:
To click on delete and that the site then dissapears.

Having experimented with trying to Allow certain sites under the heading Cookies and Site Data I find that they cannot be removed or edited. When I click on the trash can icon to the right nothing happens. Under Block there were additional commands (Edit) and I was able to delete/edit.

I have a bunch of sites that I added where I want the cookies to remain when I close Brave but I also see some sites that I did not (knowingly) add and which I can’t delete even though they have a trash can on the right – screenshot below. How do I get rid of these?

Hello.
I have disabled “Shield” for a numerous amounts of sites that I trust or own myself.

But Brave doesn’t seem to respect that and re-enables the shield for some annoying unknown reason after a day or two. How can I stop this behavior?

I want my Brave Shield to block all cookies and all fingerprinting attempts, but I have to tell it that every time I start the browser. Both settings are changed to “cross-site only” whenever I restart it.
