Description of the issue:
After installing Muon, I tried a beta of the Chromium browser. At that time Windows showed one Brave browser icon for browser default and it went back to Muon. A later release Chromium version seemed to break that launch link and I uninstalled both versions and reinstalled Chromium, but the link still seems to not launch. I also have Chrome installed as well.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Be excited for Brave and unlucky.
- Have Muon installed on win10
- Install Chromium beta
- Realize that launching links no longer works and that there is only one brave browser in defaults to select.
- Try the Chromium release and various uninstalls to get the default browser registration to point to Chromium Brave and fail.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Expected result:
Brave default browser updated from Muon to Chromium.
Reproduces how often:
Hopefully only hit people trying the Chromium beta?
Brave Version(about:brave):
Chromium beta and later with Muon installed.
Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
yes in the sense that I have trying reinstalling in the past week.
