Towards end of 2024 I started using Brave browser again after a gap of around 2+ years. So from my earlier use I had earned 8.992 BAT. Now I have a verified Uphold account as my custodian and see my BAT there . In the last 30 days easily there are several tens of ads which I have not only seen but few I have clicked and interacted with too.
Yet I have earned no BAT for that . My estimated number remains stuck at 2022 levels minus the 5 BAT that I donated recently . So the balance is 3.992. I have done the basic troubleshootings , push notifications working fine, all categories and types enabled in ads. Yet the counter for BAT does not move. Why So?
Uphold is my verified custodian.

It has been around 2 months and more , I was thinking the matter would self solve with updates but nothing is moving in the right direction. I really want to move and use Brave for everything and move away from chrome which feels to have become quite slower, so please help me. And I do want to get rewarded and get benefit of Brave Rewards.

- We don’t get paid for clicking on ads
- There is no estimated earnings. That was removed a while back
- We only get payments once per month. So if it’s connected and you’re earning, then you’ll get it when payments go out. Payouts begin around the 7th of each month and can take a while to complete. Some months is just days while others are weeks. You can check the status at Ads Payout Status Update
- The only counter you’ll see moving is your ads viewed. The balance you see is what you have in your Uphold account.
I don’t know when you connected your Uphold account. But let’s pretend you did so in January. Then possibly in February you would have gotten a payment, depending on what day in January you linked. Then here in March you would receive payment for everything you saw in February.
Depending on how long you have been connected and if you say you received nothing, then you would create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 so they can investigate. But only do that if you have sincerely been linked for several months and have missing payments from those. If it’s only this month, then keep in mind payout is still processing.

Thank you Saoiray for the detailed response sharing very insightful perspectives on the process. I will definitely be on the lookout on how this rolls on in the future and will patiently await the March 7th rollout. That will further solidify my understanding of this and will hopefully also answer my question for good. Thanks for the support and I will be now in observer mode.
Hi Saoiray, I wanted to confirm that the rewards for the Ads viewed in February has arrived. Thanks a lot for the support and I now understand the system better. My belief in Brave stays and I believe I am going to use it more!! Thanks a lot again for the support and yes this ticket can be closed.
