Santander Bank online page loads for extended time and uses a lot of processor power. Overall I can`t login due the timeout for login. After 2-3 minutes of waiting i can begin to type my ID. Then the same problem with Password. Before i can Type anything i need to wait approx. 2-3 minutes to have the possibility to type anything. After that i receive timeout.
After loading the first site Brave is not responding [this current TAB]. Program itself is working. I can add new Tabs and browse there. But I can`t login to my Bank account. It hangs up. Mostly i have timeout error and sometimes i am able to add password but then i receive error message telling that my configuration is not suited to login online… On Firefox or Chrome, Chromium site works [clean without any addons]. On Brave sadly not.
Also worth mentioning that CPU usage to this process rises to 25-30%.
I tried in Private window, over Thor, cleaned the cookies. Over FF works on Brave sadly not. The Santander website works without problems - there is problem with secure login to account. Maybe Brave has some problem with secure connections or certificates on Linux?
When Login Page hangs up Browser still works. Maybe there is some workaround?
disabling Hardware acceleration did not change anything. Then i installed Brave Beta - and surprisingly the site hangs up for… dunno 10 seconds an then… it works! After reloading the page again 10 sec freezes an works.
I tried the Nightly version an it works even better. Approximately 5 sec freeze time and then works like a charm. Sadly in Nightly and Beta the connection an syncing with KeepassXC over KeepassXC-Browser is not working. Sync is working just with stable version. So i can`t work on these versions.
So i have to use Firefox for my bank and rest in Brave. Maybe next update will bring some changes.
Sometimes problems solve themselves. Apparently on Santander site they did change something or after todays update in Linux library now in Brave Stable site loads without any problems. Now that`s more like it
