Recover last session after dismissing the popup

Description of the issue: I am unable to recover my last session after accidentally dismissing the “Recover last session” pop-up.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Shut down your PC while Brave is open
  2. Boot your PC
  3. Open Brave
  4. Dismiss the “Recover last session pop-up.”
  5. Open some tabs and windows.

Expected result: I’d like to be able to still recover my session after all that.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.48.164 Chromium: 110.0.5481.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Ctrl+Shift+T restores past Windows.
or you can use the Menu → History and then you will see, for example, 5 tabs which means it was a window with many tabs, and there is a restore window button inside of them.
But ctrl+shift+t will restore more windows/tabs than the menu displays.

For some reason they didn’t show up there. Is there any way I can recover them from my profile’s files?

You have to go into your browsing history and find the websites there.

I had like 10 windows with 200 tabs each, I don’t think that’s gonna happen haha

What happens when you do ctrl+shift+T? I said it doesn’t have to appear in the menu for it to work because the keyboard shortcut can bring stuff than what the menu shows.

You also have to understand, every time you close a window, and a tab, it will be added to the sessions menu, so knowing it’s been a day, it might be harder to recover stuff.

There are session manager extensions you can install that will automatically save sessions properly, so you can recover them better.

for example:
