Private window with Tor disconnected

Hello;
on Mac OS High Sierra since few days “Private window with Tor” is permanently “Disconnected”. But Native Tor Browser works OK on this setup. “Toggle” does not resolve this issue; turning bridges on also does not work for me. On the same MacBook, but Mac OS Catalina installed - Tor is “Connected” without any problem.
Any solution please?

If there is no solution to even such a trivial problem, what to think about this browser…
Is this browser really safe?
