Private Window Search Engine option not working

Description of the issue:
Private window search default not working.

I have DuckDuck Go or Brave search for the Private window address bar, but when I search it defaults to the Main window search engine.(Google).

How can this issue be reproduced?
It works this way always.

Expected result:*
Address bar uses Brave or DuckDuck Go

I just tested on mine and can’t replicate. I had Normal set to Google and my Private set to Brave. When typing something into my address bar on Private, it pulled up results in Brave Search .

Then I went back to Settings for Private Window and changed Brave to Qwant, which I’ve never used before. When I returned to my Private Window and typed in a search, it did the result in Qwant.
