Previous searches appear in the address bar when setting is off

Description of the issue: Brave still shows search history in the address bar even when the setting is turned off making it annoying for various privacy issues.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Turn off the “Browsing History” setting in Settings --> Appearance --> Browsing History
  2. Search for something on the browser
  3. Start typing something similar to the previous search

Expected result: Only recommended searches should appear and there should be no trace of the previous searches.

Brave Version: 1.62.162

Additional Information: This happens ALL the time unless “Show autocomplete suggestions in address bar” is turned off
