When I click on PDFs attached to emails they download instead of open even with “Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Brave” checked off in Settings. I saw this issue was addressed and solved on Oct. 9, 2019, but I don’t have any extensions on my browser, which is where the conflict was in that case.

Hi, @Beechy, and welcome. Brave 1.5.122 was released earlier today, so you might want to download the dmg, copy the new version to Applications, and see if that changes anything. I use Nightly, but I’ve downloaded and installed Release to test it. If I run into this issue, I’ll report back.

Tried using links from https://www.hud.gov/coronavirus and seems to work properly in vanilla Brave 1.5.122 Chromium: 80.0.3987.162 (Official Build) (64-bit) on macOS Version 10.15.4 (Build 19E266).
@Beechy, if 1.5.122 doesn’t work, maybe it’s the particular links. Some generate PDFs instead of linking directly to them. So if you’re still having problems, can you share some example links?
