PC updated, ads now popping up

Description of the issue:
I’ve been using Brave for years and never had any issues with ads ever. My pc forced an update on itself, and suddenly now when I go to YouTube or my gmail, there are ads everywhere.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Update your pc to the latest version.
  2. Update Brave to it’s latest version.
  3. No clue, honestly

Expected result:
YouTube should now have ads. And Gmail as well.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.75.178 Chromium: 133.0.6943.98 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Not every website actually had ads. It’s only random sites like YouTube and my Gmail. Netflix is also no longer working, which was not a problem before my pc updated. I’ll provide any extra details if needed, I just need help figuring out what in the world happened to my browser.

Can you please go to brave://components and ensure that the Brave Ad Block Updater is fully updated?

Well that might be the problem. That is not even listed on my components. How would I fix that? I already attempted un and reinstalling multiple times

If you install Brave Beta or Nightly, does it show in that profile? Can only think its profile related here

Bless your heart bro. I tried switching my profile on Brave - didn’t work. I downloaded Brave Beta and everything works perfectly again! Now I just have to adjust it back to my regular settings+info. Thank you!!
