Description of the issue:
Since yesterday, it takes 1 or 2 second for a new tab to open one the new tab button is selected.

This happens only since yesterday, maybe when I tried to activate the ads in the new tab page. I disabled this option since then, but it does not fix the issue.

It should be noted that I don’t have the issue with the beta apps.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a new tab
  2. See the app frozen for 1 second

I solved th issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
