Description of the issue:
I’m not getting page notifications always. I have notifications enabled for the site and for desktop notifications. Sometimes I get notification in Brave and in desktop tray, sometimes there is nothing.
Expected result:
I get notifications always.

Can you please give me an example website in which you aren’t seeing notifications from?
For example: Tradingview.com
You might check your Windows Focus Assist settings and ensure that there aren’t times where notifications are getting suppressed. Other than that, I believe Brave leverages the systems notification system the same way other browsers do.
It’s hard to say exactly what the issue might be if the behavior is erratic. One thing you can do is go to a push notification test website and see if you can replicate the issue. We have one of these on our Help Center you can use but it might also be worth testing the behavior with a timed notification.

I run some tests and if it seems that the problem is that notifications are not sent if the tab does not have focus. I tested timed notifications and if I keep the focus it works fine but if I switch to a different tab it doesn’t work 100% of the time.
I throught that it might be caused by the tab not being loaded after Brave is launched (as in: I have the tab opened but don’t give it focus since the app launch). But yesterday I got a notification from a tab that was not loaded so that’s not the case.
