Brave doesnt show me site notifications

Description of the issue:
I have been using Brave for nearly a year and ever since the first time i used it , it doesnt show me notifications for sites that I have chosen to ALLOW notifications to. I regularly updated Brave but havent for a couple of months; not a big problem.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. I dont know why this happens to me i am using Brave portable but this has nothing to do with the case.

Expected result:
Brave should show notifications

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 0.62.51

Hi there, pull up brave://settings/content/notifications. Do you see the sites you’ve whitelisted for notifications in the list here?

Hi,

I went to chrome://settings/content/notifications and added manually Gmail, Calendar, and other pages which didn’t seem to be added after I press the “Allow” for desktop notifications. Many pages (especially Google services pages) keep asking to enable desktop notifications despite my ‘allowing’ them to do so.

Either something is blocking my acceptance or something is not working in Brave.
