Netflix not playing videos, widevine ON

Description of the issue:

Cant use netflix, spotify even if i have widevine ON

windows 11 v1.40.113 (July 5th, 2022)

  • Upgraded Chromium to 103.0.5060.114

Additional Information:

i tried to disabled then enabled widevine and in a private session

Turn OFF brave shields (Ad-blcoker) for netflix and spotify.

It looks to be adblocker problem more than DRM problem

@Dinalo Can you open in a Private tab and see if it works? Iā€™m asking as many places suggest to disable extensions. Private window should automatically do this for you, among other things.

    Check if up-to-date

  3. brave://settings/clearBrowserData`
    Clear history/cache for all time, exit browser, and reopen
    image

  4. Create a new test profile and see if problem occurs in a new profile

  5. Make sure Brave (1.41.99 at this posting), your OS, and drivers are all updated to the latest versions.
