MX Master 3S for Mac Back and Forward Buttons changed functions

Description of the issue:
My Logitech mouse back and forward buttons have been tied to “back” and “forward” in the browser for as long as I’ve owned it. I woke up and they now randomly switched - the back button opens a side panel to search my tabs, while the forward button now is a shortcut for “paste”. I checked Logi Options+ and the buttons are still tied to the back and forward functions as they always have been.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a link in Brave
  2. Tap back and forward buttons on Logitech mouse
  3. Notice the toolbar highlights and functions outputted from pressing either button

Expected result:
Browser goes back a page or forward a page respsectively

Resetting the browser fixed the issue
