"Back" keyboard shortcut not working from "New tab"

Description of the issue:
“Back” keyboard shortcut not working from “New tab” page.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Here is what I did.

  1. Opened a new tab.
  2. Typed the https://www.lemonde.fr url in the address bar.
  3. Hit Enter.
  4. Went back to the New tab page using the keyboard shortcut Cmd+Left Arrow.
  5. Hit the “Back” keyboard shortcut Cmd+Right Arrow to go back to the previous page.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
I didn’t go back to the previous page.

Expected result:
Going back to the previous page.

Reproduces how often:
Every time I tried.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Mac OS X 10.12.6
Brave Browser v75.0.66.101 (66.101)

This is actually the intended behavior. There are extensions you can get to do this for you if you’d like, however, you can also just use cmd + left/right arrow to navigate back and fourth from the keyboard. I think that we’ve actually previously labled this particular request as a “wontfix” on our Github:
