I haven’t been paying much attention to the Brave Rewards bit yet as i dont have a crypto wallet however there are a few advocacy and charity organisations who use crypto and i’d probably endure more adverts if it helps them out too.
I don’t know the legalities of all this and if its too much work your end to be worth sharing donations but some bigger charities with good transparency like the red cross and save the children take bitcoin now
So just to be sure it’s understood, Brave does not directly give donations to organizations or individuals through its rewards program. How it works is you sign up, and then while you use the Brave browser, you will see discrete ads and receive Brave Attention Tokens (BAT) for each one you see. Those tokens accumulate and are distributed once a month to Brave users. You could then take those tokens and donate them to the organizations or people that you like, but they can only receive them if they are set-up to take BAT.
