Middle-Clicking Tab Moves Browser to Another Screen

Description of the issue:

When I middle click, the browser moves to my secondary screen

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Have two screens
  2. Middle Click Tab

Expected result:

Tab should be closed

Reproduces how often:

it works sometimes after trying a few times as the browser moves between the screens. But most times, it moves the browser.

Windows 10, Version 0.63.55 Chromium: 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

This works in Google Chrome and Vivaldi on the same machine.

I figured out what the problem was in my case; I’d installed Brave (Chromium) without uninstalling the prior version (Muon). I noticed because when I tried to set Brave as my default browser, it was opening the older version. I uninstalled that, and did some registry hacks where it was pointing to the older version, and it started to work.
