Moving tab between brave windows w/ mouse error

When having multiple instances of brave open, and moving a tab from one window to another, the tab I am trying to move will not join the other existing window and instead will be treated as a new window. Right clicking on the tab and accessing the “Move tab to another window” works fine, but is more time consuming than just dragging.

Opened Firefox and was not able to reproduce the result. Opened Chromium and the same issue persisted.

Example of what is happening: https://youtu.be/ppu-385G6Vs

Expected result is for the tab to collapse into the other window.

Every time I use brave.

Brave version: Version 1.34.80 Chromium: 97.0.4692.71 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS: Kubuntu 21.10

No additional information, but a correlated question. Can you access the “move tab to another window” entirely via keystrokes? I searched but couldnt find anything…

I have also been seeing this behavior since the last update. Identical versions just using Ubuntu MATE instead of Kubuntu

From some quick browsing it looks like an upstream Chromium issue. I guess we will just have to wait for it to filter down.

I am experiencing this issue as well on “KDE neon User - Plasma 25th Anniversary Edition”.
