MetaMask hacked through Brave browser

So it appears that my Metamask has been hacked through Brave browser. I made all precautions to prevent that, but…

  • I used MM for transaction to only two sites (Wonderland.money and Trader Joe),
  • Password and key has not been saved in browser
  • Unauthorised transactions are not visible in extension, only in Snowtrace,
  • Of all extensions, I have only 2, MM and Ronin wallet,
    I’m aware that I can say goodbye to my money, but my question is, how that happened?

is there an update on this issue? I got the same problem, there is no history in Brave browser, but I can see the transaction on the Snowtrace. I also never keep seed phase on-line in any forms.
