Hi, I’ve never done something like this before, so I’ll give the super short version:
I play Cookie Clicker. Have been for 7+ years. Played on Brave Browser 1.0 (I got Brave early on)
Played on desktop.
Used Chrome as main browser, Brave for Cookie Clicker
Got Firefox because Chrome is too spyware for me.
Wanted to move everything to Brave.
Got Brave on laptop and phone. Synced profiles.
Went to move Desktop to all Brave use.
Couldn’t sync Desktop with Brave, because it was the original Brave release and couldn’t auto-update.
Downloaded Brave on desktop again to install newest release.
DID NOT UNINSTALL/DELETE ANYTHING.
Installed new Brave
Synced with laptop and phone Brave profile
COOKIE CLICKER SAVE FILE IS GONE.
Can I retrieve the cookies I had on the old version of Brave? I didn’t uninstall or delete anything from my original Brave install. I just don’t know how to access the cookies from my old Brave install.
I have 7 YEARS of Cookie Clicker work in those old cookies.
PLEASE HELP ME GET MY OLD COOKIES BACK!
