To scrub through a video you now have to touch rather precisely in the timeline, this is unnecessarily user unfriendly, especially since “swiping away” whatever is currently playing has an unjutifiably enourmous touch area.
It’s reminiscent HTML5 webplayers that have that same accessibility issue. It was always a massive plus with the old “playlist” because it would circumvent the accessibility issues of the webplayer. Not a massive issue, since I’m not “differently abled” but if I feel the loss, then there are definitely those who are suffering worse.
