Losing Rewards from Estimated pending rewards + ADS and Revenue not counted

I have been using Brave Browser for quite a time now around all of my devices as a default browser and Here I am going to address 3 issues that i have been dealing with recently.

Note: I am using the latest version of Brave on Desktop as well as on android.

Issue 1: Inconsistency in the brave ads, someday i receive good amount of ads and then there are days sometime weeks where literally no ads are shown.

Issue 2:Sometimes randomly the ADS are shown very frequently but none of them are counted nor rewarded.

Issue 3:Losing rewards from Estimated pending rewards,I was having 9.795 BAT in my Estimated pending rewards (image attached) which was decreased to 1.275 BAT (image attached) when i accessed my browser after a hour or two i.e I lost 8.52 BAT ,same thing also happened on Brave Browser for android where 14.020 BAT from my Estimated Pending Rewards was decreased to 3.595 BAT i.e losing 10.425 BAT.
Is anyone else facing this issue?Please let me know in the comments below.

The same happened to me - loss of actual BAT earned MTD…

A substantial amount at that, while the number of ads viewed hasn’t changed?

My amount on estimated BATs has also been reduced again. Two days ago I had around 8.9 estimated BATs in my rewards screen, since yesterday it has been reduced to 3.8 again for no apparent reason.

This is the second time now that this happens… the Brave Team should immediately fix this bug because if not I think that sooner or later they will lose many users because I think the rewards are one of the main reasons to use Brave instead of another browser.

Not sure if its a bug or its done purposely but whatever it is,it should be fix ASAP and Yes,the rewards help users to engage with the community so losing earned rewards really sucks!

Seems OK. Brave Ads is tailored for you based on your browsing behavior/history. So if the system doesn’t find a match, it’ll not show you an ad/s.

Seems like not an issue. More like the balance adjusted itself after payout.

Was there a mid month payout a few days ago? Then I would understand this but would be annoyed that I didn’t get a payout even though the amount of estimated BATs has been reduced. If there was no mid month payout - what I believe - then it’s an issue yet.

The Balance I was having of 9.795 was accumulated after the October months payout (as you can see the payout date is Nov 6) and was suddenly decreased on 13th of October so there was neither any payout nor i received any amount.

There was no mid-month payout according to my knowledge even if there was one then I have not received any amounts of BAT’s…so it’s an issue.

@Kido @Chezar It’s not always readjusted as soon as payment done. It can take, in some case, days before it’s readjust the balance.

If the substracted balance == the paid BAT (from ~Oct 8th) then it’s not an issue.

Also cc @steeven @Mattches in case there’s a known issue that I’m not aware of.

I had 8.9 BAT before the “drop” down to 3.8 BAT so the reduced amount is 5.1 BAT. Days before I received a payout to Uphold of 7.22 BAT which has been deduced regularly. So I don’t think there is any relation.

just wanted to say what is happen to me

rarly the estimated reduced but after open the new tab sometimes it get fixed sometime i had to go to the reward setting page sometime it corrected after i get an ads and sometime it stay for long so i ignore it and it corrected automatically but always corrected on the same day

another crazy thing but also random it did not get reduce but it increased in huge way
i notice when it increased it’s value become the real estimated value + the already claimed bats

for the decrease case i can not determine how the new value calculated

just for clearing it happen random and rare and always corrected

Version 1.15.72 Chromium: 86.0.4240.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)

on centos 8.2

On my android I use to have 16 Bats but now I show 0. Also when I try to review my wallet it says I have to have 25 bats in my wallet to review it, why is this so? Brave does not have any customer service and I do not get any answers for my issues in these chat community forums. Can anyone out there help me understand what is going on? Thank you :slight_smile:

How long have you been using Brave? And another another issue I have is and I think this is most likely the problem is I’m not receiving ads I received two ads the other day. I have had Brave for at least a year now and I used to have 16 Bat.

Something is so wrong.
